Avatar B210 & B210 Neo - How do you tell the difference?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a Avatar B210 Neo - I bought this new. I wanted a second cabinet and picked up a used (seller said about 2 years old) Avatar B210. It looks basically the same as my B210 Neo but is definitely heavier. (Same corner reinforcement style, grill, front port, horn location, etc.) The only differences I notice are the printing on the label next to the inputs and the speakers do look a little different. Both sound great! I assume the used one I just bought is a B210 with the pre-Neo speakers (Delta?). Other than judging purely by weight, how do I tell the difference between a B210 Neo and an earlier B210 series?

OR

Open it up and see if it has the tiny Neo magnets or the older weight room size magnets on the speakers

The port shelf is about 1 1/2" longer in the neo also . That you can measure without taking the cab apart .
