I was asking about the deal in question here, and was told that they are moving away from the neodymium magnets because of the huge price increase. A lot of this material is being allocated for use in hybrid/electric cars now, not to mention the Chinese' deliberate supply restriction in order to increase the price.
Anyway, you can get the ceramic option for the same price shipped as you can get the free shipping on the neo cabs, and you also have a higher wattage rating to go with ceramic. That's worth it to me for a few extra pounds when carrying the cabinet, and also if a speaker blows, good luck finding a matching neo replacement for a reasonable price. |
