B100r getting fuzzy (in a not so good way)

I have a B100r that is starting to act a little odd. Sometimes it sounds a bit fuzzy/distorted, especially when a long note is starting to fade out, or when I play softer. It doesn't matter the volume/gain on the amp or the volume or tone settings on the bass. If I play softer or as a loud note startes to fade it gets fuzzy and occaisionally cuts in and out. I've swapped out the cables several times and played 3 different basses through it. If the bass booster or bass eq are turned up it becomes more pronounced, but doesn't actually happen more frequently. Any ideas on what this might be or what cause this?

*Edit* So after doing a little bit of trial and talking to the guy at Ampeg, it looks like the problem is in the power section of the amp and probably needs to be biased.

*FINAL EDIT* For anyone searching this and wondering, I ended up cleaning the input jack with a little flux and bending the prongs in a little bit and it cleared it right up.
