BA115 Issue, please help.

Sign in to disble this ad
Had my BA115 for about 2 years with no issues. One day after powering up the volume was cut in half and remains that way today. I have to run both volume and master wide open to get the same volume I was getting at about 5. There is no distortion at all, clean sound. The XLR out seems ok, normal signal strength. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help,
Ray

If your amp has a headphone jack, something easy you could try is plugging a (headphone or guitar) cord in/out of it a few times. Those headphone jacks have switching contacts that mute the amps speaker, sometimes dust/corrosion causes a poor connection and simply plugging a jack in/out a few times is all that's needed to clear up the problem.
