I'm concidering picking one up, however will it be compareable to an Lh500 and swr goliath 2 volume wise? Obviously its less watts, bit does it project well? I did search but I'm not finding what I'm looking for :/

obviously the lh500 will make the goliath 2 go louder (won't be twice as loud but it'll be somewhat louder), but the ba115 holds its own and projects pretty well imho.

I hated mine and sold it within a year for a gk mb200 and a gk 2x10 cab. they have almost no thump and the tone was never quite right. and there resale value is garbage i bought the hp version cost 550 new and ended up getting 150 for it. save you money and buy a GK much nicer amp with alot more volume and tonal variations.

matter of opinion. for what it is, i think the ba115 is pretty unbeatable in its price range. but if it were me, i'd hold out for one of their new portaflex combos that they say will ship in march, or maybe get a micro vr stack (available now and i'm loving mine long time).

Well 150 for a combo to cover small shows... sounds like a deal to me

Funny, I just traded a GK Backline rig for an Ampeg BA115HP. Different strokes, I guess. The GK definitely wins the volume war, but I like the tone from the Ampeg better.
