back up / upgrade question

Sign in to disble this ad
I use a Markbass LM II and 2 Aguilar DB112 cabs. I love my rig! It's versitile, punchy and doesn't break my back. However, if something were to happen to my amp, I don't have a back up. Just curious as to what you would consider a good back up or amp upgrade. Not really looking for more watts/power but more concerned with tone and reliability. Maybe just another LMII? Thanks

LMIII. Same as LMII but with an adjustable gain direct out.

I got a GB Shuttle 6.0- GREAT amp, REALLY versatile, small(TINY) with terrific EQ & tube pre to dial in some dirt if needed.
I'm never unhappy to bring that amp out in ANY case, be it as back up or as my main amp.

A good DI pedal is all the back-up I ever carry, and if you don't own one, it's a good idea to have one. No need for a 2nd amp if the main one is in good shape.
