Hi, I was playing bass in my room, and I have a 6m cable, so I decided to walk in the house, and, when I went out my room, the sound was awful.
In my room the sound is beautiful.
LOWS=1
MID=0
HIGH=2
I dont know why when I leave my room and I start to go farther the sound is ugly. |

I could probably spend 10 minutes scooting your cab around and fix it. |

It may have the "Fender" pot settings where Low 2,Mids 10,High 2 is flat,in which case your settings would be a massive mid scoop.
I may have my numbers a bit off.

All kidding aside, crank those mids up and see what it sounds like.

Seriously, certain frequencies are effected by physical bounderies such as walls. Even a home stereo sounds different when you leave the room it is in.
P.S. - I don't think a Peavey Minx 110 will cut it in a bar. Hope you have a bigger rig for that.

| | | | I don't play in bars, only is a question. I have a Yamaha Bass. |

| | | | That's not a bar gigging amp. It's a practice/coffeehouse amp.

Did turning the mids up help?
