I was a little surprised myself at the volume and coverage. The 6in gave very good room dispersion. But we already know this from the ML112. I was standing next to the guitarist who was using a Bogner head and a 1x12 cab that was mic'd. Soundman said I sat just fine in the mix, but again, it was the biggest sounding box I've used. I usually use a UL310 or UL112/UL110 stack.
Roger's going to do a few tweaks on the box. I can't wait to hear it again.
Cool! I hope Roger doesn't tweak for too long!!

He tends to want to really get it right before it goes out the door. This is a good thing.

Was a the relative humidity above or below 30% and were you sitting or standing when you played? Were you facing North or South?

+1 Been wondering as well.

I know how a pair of ML112 slays. A pair of ML115? That's Spinal Tap territory. So, where's the ML215?

Quick correction. B String and I talked for a while about the new Eminence sample they made for me, so I see the confusion, but the cab as he tested it out is using a Faital woofer. As much as I love working with Eminence and they did make me a hell of a 15" driver, it is just not practical for us to use custom drivers for every box. To get remotely decent pricing from Eminence, I have to shell out for 100 drivers at a time, which does horrible things to our cash flow situation. We will continue to use the custom 12" they make for us, because it is just ridiculously good, but we have to look more at using stock drivers for new cabs if we are going to make it as a company.

Have no fear though, the Faital's are amazing drivers and just perfect for this cab. Eminence neo's tend to have a rise in the upper mids, due to the way they are designed and manufactured. I wanted to the ML115 to have a different vibe, so I was looking for a driver that wouldn't have that upper mid bite we get from the Eminence 12" drivers. The Faital fit the bill perfectly as it is very flat in the upper mids up to the crossover point. I plan to get this tweaked and on the market fairly quick, as I think we are pretty darn close as it is.

You know there are guys who are probably miffed that I didn't give the brand and gauge of the strings. Mr Bitter

Duke (Thunderchild) talks about his TC115 putting out about 3db more than his TC112. Same with the fEARful 15/6 versus 12/6, so your experience makes sense. 3db more volume is HUGE! Sounds like a very nice box, and anything under 50 pounds is an easy schlep for me.

Do tell, thought the terrorbaer would be great in my mind. I have a baerliner as well, but impressed by the shuttlebaermax 9.2.

Roger- release the amp already for a baer baer.

Tonight:
I'll either be using "WalkaBaer" or "FusionBear".

The FusionBear is much more futuristic.

"Open the podbay doors FusionBaer!"
"I'm afraid I can't do that Dave."

What? Did you get rid of your Terror? Or you simply prefer the Streamliner with your ML112's?

I played a ML112 at a local g2g and I much prefer the Baer Hammer 500! Will try to swing one after tax season.

I still have it for now, I suspect that with the cab being quite aggressive the streamliner might tame it a little. Just experimenting at the moment

The Terror is a good match, but with both the cab and the amp being quite aggressive up top it can sometimes be a bit much.
I also think that the genz DI is better having used the terror live now.
Also like the aux input and headphone out on the genz.

You think the Orange Bass Terror TB500h is aggressive up top? Wow. I would call it relaxed up top. But as for the DI, yeah, the TB500h has no level control or pad. That is not very flexible. It does have a ground lift. But that's it.
