Is this a Bag End 212?

For sale locally, $150. Doesn't look like a "real" cab, but a home made one. Any thoughts?

It doesn't look like a Bag End to me. Any pics of the back? Close ups?

If it is, it's been modified. Those ARE the same speaker clamps on my S-15 though.

Can't tell, only have this one photo to go on. You got to love the ghetto-grills. Is there supposed to be one solid grill over the whole front?

It could be, but I doubt it. Tough to say from the pic. Every BE cab I've seen from the "black spray paint" era had slotted corners, where this one does not. This one looks legit, though vastly overpriced:

Local GC has it as a bass cab...that's what caught my eye. I'll pass.

Funny thing is, Bag End is about 45 minutes up the road from my house, and I've never bothered to try one.

I had the same grills on my original BE cabs... and the original were all wood colored or painted black

I was thinking they were early BE cabs. Someone was selling some of the early natural wood ones local to me recently and they looked very similar.
