BAG END S15D/S15XD Question

Sign in to disble this ad
For those who have both the s15d and the s15xd, do you find that the s15d has more bass response? Maybe it seems that way because the xd has more treble? I know on paper they both have the same low end response.

thx!

Had both for years... nope, the low end response seemed the same to me. That's a nice match, since the non x version stand alone (not surprisingly) is 'mids and not much else', and the x version (with no attenuator) stand alone is a bit overwhelming in the treble sizzle with many basses and heads.

When you stack them, the tweeter balances very nicely and the coupling results in those very mid voice cabs to open up down low a bit more.
