I'd check em' out. Just keep in mind that it may not sound quite as awesome in a solo setting. I think the rig really shines in a mix.

I'd say this was an anomaly or a tech glitch. He does not know you so it couldn't be personal. Jim B. avidly takes care of his customers. He spent time with Eric Papp on the phone developing the Berg Mod for the Summit TD-100. Jule creator of the Monique also conversed with Jim to be sure the Monique and IPs mate well. He cares what you think and often has anticipated some eq tweak you suggest.

I'm sorry you had that experience.
I think both Bergs & Bags are great products built by designers trying to deliver speaker systems that work for bass players in the real world.

I recently decided to purchase a pair of the BE s15-d's...within 2 weeks I'd "bagged" 2 that came up for sale in the classifieds (30 minutes of playing through the first one that arrived confirmed that I wanted a second). My Dually 2x15 with Faital drivers is at the rehearsal space so it's been all Bag End lately...running my Fender Bassman 100T with the single cab (second cab due tomorrow). The Bassman sounds great with the BE. Everything that I'd read about them seems to be spot on. Tonight I finally got a chance to run the GB Streamliner 900 with it...****ing brilliant. The BE couldn't pair better with the Streamliner. Thick and punchy with warm, round yet controlled low end...I think the BE cabs will be used exclusively with the Streamliner and the Bassman will be run through the Dually. Great cabs.

*edit* I also noticed that the BE cabs take my dirt pedals (specifically tested tonight: Fairfield Barbershop, SUF Civil War, Swollen Pickle, Wren & Cuff Tri-Pie, Caroline Wave Cannon and Barber Trifecta) extremely well. Way impressed...

I actually bought my Bags specifically to pair with my Streamliner, and I agree that it sounded great together.

Looks like I'll be picking up the Bergantino NV412. Some day Bag End, some day!

Everything about the bag end (s15d) is perfect for me. It's compact, the sound is super warm, yet super clear and punchy, and it only cost me $260 for a top quality cab.

For a broke teenager like me, it's absolutely perfect.

400rb with the s15 stack is straight up raunchnroll. Live or for recording. Actually I just recorded in an all analog studio. The engineer offered me his all tube vintage ampeg cab and vintage 215 cab. I graciously turned it down and used the 400 with the bag stack. He couldn't believe it. After we ran through some songs he understood.

Very nice cabs. On the used market , they're a steal.

Does the pair stand as tall/wide as a Berg NV cab?

The Bag End stack is about the same height, but about 5 inches narrower.

Here's a picture for reference.
