Bass cab build suggestions???

I'm getting a Line 6 HD750 head...
750W@4ohms
375W@8ohms


I want to build my own cab for this, first ideas....a 1x15 2x10 cab, or a 1x15 2x8, or just 2x12

Or would it be better to have 2 cabs, a 1x15 and a 2x10 etc etc

I play in a modern metal/hardcore band in Drop B tuning and play really low stuff mainly so im after a really deep low sound.

Any ideas what would be best to go for or have any other suggestions???

This will be the first time i've tried to build a cab myself but i will be more than capable, i study music tech at university and i studied electronic engineering for the past 3 years.

Any tips/feedback/critism etc taken on board

Acoustical Engineering is the field that covers loudspeaker design, and a pretty fair knowledge of civil/mechanical engineering is included in that. Beginners are best off building tested and tried designs like fEarful or EV TL606 before trying to roll their own from scratch.
