Bass Cab with a Guitar Amp Head???

Hi guys,

I'm a bass player but I do play guitar time to time.
I've been using Acoustic 260mkII mini stack for both bass and guitar for bedroom practice amp through Digitech GNX3000, which has amp/cab models for both bass and guitar.

Even though the guitar tone through this setting was pretty decent for moderate volume bedroom practice, I am now thinking of getting a dedicated guitar amp.

What I am considering is Orange Micro Terror 20W head.
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Orange-A...22-i2440675.gc
And my question is, can I run this head through the Acoustic 260mkII mini stack cab?
Will it cause any problem to the cab?

(Don't want to spend more than $150 for a guitar amp, hence I'd like to use the existing component if I can help it)

The Micro Terror head is rated at 20W with 4 ohm minimum.
The Acoustic 260mkII mini stack cab is rated at 100W with a single 10" 4 ohm load speaker.

Will it be okay if I use this guitar head with this bass cab?
I feel it won't damage the 10" drive in the cab because of rated wattage and matching ohm.
But I'd like to get a confirmation from those who know about this much better than I do.

BTW, I will use this setup for low to moderate volume bedroom practice.
Your input will be very valued and appreciated.
Thanks!

Yes. So long as the impedance is what you say, it's fine. Not loud, but fine.

Thank you for the straight answer.
This confirmation puts me at ease.

Should be just fine, especially at low volumes. If you crank volume/bass, you might hurt it.
