| The bass cancellation feature in the TASCAM MP-BT1 works very well. Actually, ALL of the features in them work well, IMO. The battery is "technically" not user servicable. If you are someone who's been inside of lots of electronic gizmos and knows how to get into them and becareful not to break it, you can replace the battery yourself. It basically just plugs into the circuit board inside. Finding a replacement battery is another story. I'm not sure where you'd find one. I've never had a problem with the battery NOT taking a charge. A full charge seems to last roughly 8 hours give or take. I have the TASCAM charger for mine so I'm able to charge it and use it at the same time; otherwise, you have to charge it off your computer and that takes awhile. All of the features you mentioned in your other gear are in the TASCAM unit, but it also can cancel the bass freq's so you can only hear yourself over the music. It also has a tuner and a metronome. It's pretty feature packed, really.
The TASCAM MP-BT1 is a decent tool, IMO, I use mine literally everyday. The one thing I hate about them is that the switches are cheap plastic inside the unit and they tend to break after while. The TASCAM's switches are very fragile. Treat it like it's made of glass and eggshells and you should be OK for roughly a year of use.
