A bass in each channel Ampeg SVT VR?

Is it OK to plug a bass into both Channel 1 and Channel 2 at the same time? I don't mean using both at once but to swap between them - so when playing bass ion Channel 1 mute Channel 2 and vice versa?

No problem at all. Each channel is independent.

Best to turn the volume down at the instrument not being used to minimize noise.

Thanks guys. It's a great feature actually. I have a P Bass and a couple of Spectors - and they are SO different, that they definitely need way different eq, and rather than fiddling about I can set up Ch1 for the P and Ch2 for the Spector. It's actually easy enough then just to swap cables, but to be able to just swap instruments, mute one and up the other is really, really nice.
