I hope that Ur Avatar is 8ohms so you can add a second cab in the future~ if it's 4ohms, be careful with that powerful GENZ head~ it will turn your cab into splinters if you push it too hard.

yeah I ordered the 8. I plan on putting a single 500W ceramic 112 underneath it eventually to run a 4 ohms.

I'm sure the 900w amp can handle the 1000W speaker handling just fine.

Sounds good. BTW it's the speakers that have to handle the amp's input and not the other way around, and they will, as long as you don't eq in a lot of bass and dime the head's gain and master.

Thanks. I'll make sure not to dial in too much low-end or dime the gain.

I'm used to 100W guitar tube amps providing more power than most 150W (or 300W!) cabs can handle. I'm pretty sure my VHT Sig:X__'s 2 KT88s and giant custom output trannie would destroy my 212 cab if I tried to do it.

The volume and gain will be kept quite low for a good long time I'm thinking.
