Bass Shops in the UK for Baer Amps

Sign in to disble this ad
Question for the UK TalkBass crowd. We are looking for a dealer in the UK to carry our gear and I was wondering what bass shops in the UK you guys think would be a good match for the Baer Amplification products? Ideally, this would be a shop that carries other higher end boutique gear and provides excellent one on one attention with its customers. Thanks for the
Cheers!

First one comes to mind is The Bass Gallery in Camden Town, London. Top gear and knowledgeable staff.

Not many bass-specific music shops in the UK. There are some UK builders, some of them may be interested?

Thanks for the input. I've been talking with Mark at Bass Direct for a while now. It's a bit tricky getting our gear in a bass shop, as we can't match the dealer discounts of the larger companies at this point, so the shops have to decided if they think there is a market for our gear at the higher end of the price spectrum.

100% Bass Direct for the super high end. I haven't bought much from Mark but I will over the next few years.

A lot of independent retails work together as a single entity, one main group, individual retailers.

Simply to let individual retailers buy in larger quantities of stock to help compete with larger retailers (with larger buying power).

I have to be useless here, and admit, I cannot remember the name of the master company.

However, it could be something worth considering? Granted, you may be too specialised for them. But then again, some small, independent retailers do sell high end gear (a guy I knew from back home used to be one of the few Sadowsky retailers in the UK, and he ran a fairly small independent business).
