Had that head for about one year.... Man, it was a real monster of pure Tube tone !!!!! A great head, with lots of tone shaping possibilities !!!!

I had the Sunn 300T for awhile. Great sound AND loud, but too many knobs for me. I'm now using a Sadowsky SA 200 and quite happy.

Here's mine ...with a berg NV610 has the best sound .... IMHO

Here's my Ampeg SVT 810 cab, mid 1990's cab, I installed 4 Jensen Mods in the top section, made the cab less muddy sounding ...but the Berg NV berg cabinets are just flat out right, a nicer sounding cabinet, I only use the 8x10 at the rehearsal space ... too big .... too heavy, for the gigs I'm doing now

And here's one with the Berg NV425

I also have a Berg NV412, but I haven't gotten a photo of it with the Bassman 300 ..................yet
I also have used the Bassman 300 with 2- TL-606 cab, loaded with Emience 3015's .... since I went the Berg route, I no longer use them

Best amp on the market. I just traded my back up amp, an svt, for a second 300 pro. Man is that sick?

I too have a SVT, that I use for a back-up,along with several other amps I have, and while I like the tone, the SVT, just gets too dirty, too soon for my tastes ..... the Bassman can do the tone and a whole lot more ... IMHO

Here's mine on top of my 215 Pro cab. Not a great pic of the rig. Also, I took the Fender logo off the head because it was blocking the beautiful glowing tubes.

David Meissner: how does the Fender 300 Pro head and LDS 15/6 cab sound together?

Broken Ohms: how does the Fender 215 Pro cab sound with that head? (I would think it's a match made in heaven.)

I recently bought a Fender 300 Pro head, and I will be using it with either the pair of LDS 15/6's that I am scheduled to receive by the end of this month, or, I might decide to buy a Fender 215 Pro cab to go with the 300 Pro head and use the 15/6's with my Kern/QSC amp rig.

I've got the earlier Sunn-branded 300T. Paired with EBMM Audiophile HD-2x10 & 2x12 cabs. Great sounding rig, stupid loud, but it weighs about 240 lbs.

Here's a 300T rig I saw for sale on eBay a while back. I bet it can move some air.

My back muscles are sore just thinking about lifting that amp up there.

I used to play one with a Mesa Boogie Powerhouse 1000 and it was incredible!!! Get a big powerhouse, you won't be sorry.

I had one and loved it. BUT I sold it as I was doing a lot of commuting and wanted to do the portable thing.

I do miss the sound and look, not to mention I got a great deal on it new. Very warm sounding...I miss the sound, but it was too loud and heavy!

Having owned the same SUNN 300T amp, I juist can tell you that rig could move mountains very easily so much it would be powerful coupled with these cabs !!!!

Honestly, these SUNN 300T ( Fender Pro 300 ) are incredible. I miss mine a lot, but man, I do not miss their weight at 03:00AM after a gig !!!!

I use to rock this exact set-up! It was just too much, though. I like mine paired with just the 2x15:

It is a great match. This will be my rig for a long long time I think. Clean tone is huge\full. Distortion is nasty...in a good way. I was using the head with an Eden 410XLT but it didn't make my pant legs flap like the 215. The only thing I don't like is the hiss from the tweeter. I just turn it down\almost off. I play in a loud heavy rock band but I think this amp\cab would suit just about any style of music.

I got my bassman 300 head a few days ago... replaced tubes and got a check up with a clean bill of health... this set-up rocks. Warm and tubey... tone city!
