Bassman Replacement Speakers

I have a 1966 (give or take a year or two) Fender Bassman cabinet 2X12. It needs two new speakers. I'm looking for recommendations to match the original sound and cabinet design. I think the original speakers were Jensens but I'm not positive.

I really owe Leo Fender a debt of gratitude for loading the '65 Bassman with Jensen guitar drivers. The horrible sound it created was the entire reason why I learned how to design and build my own cabs, eventually turning that into my profession.
Load it with Eminence Alpha 12s, they're far better than what Leo used.

The poor bass tone of the 65-66 bassman cab (not head) is the reason I bought a new Ampeg B-15N in 1966 instead of the Bassman. Years later I picked up a backface Bassman head and like it through a good 15 cab. That 2-12 cab, or at least the speaker choice was one of Leo's mistakes.

Thx! It hasn't been used in 40 years. Sounds like I can make it better than ever!
