Sorry if these have been discussed already, I did a search and didn't find a mention. Does anyone here have an opinion on these? Own one? Played one? Any pros/cons? Reliability?

thanks in advance....

The 1X15" one is killer. I only tried it briefly but loved it.

I own the Bassman TV Duo Ten and it is amazing. I haven't seen many people talk about them or actually purchase them. I think its because everyone initially thought they were going to be all tube but its a hybrid D-Class power amp with a tube preamp. It's really powerful though I can say. It has a passive tone stack so eqing is different than modern amps. Watching that ed friedland demo gives you a good idea of how it works if you don't know.

I no longer own that jaguar.

Own the TV15 Combo. Absolutely love the amp. Warm, punchy, and loud. The breakup when you start hitting the tube makes your bass sing with Vintage goodness, and any OD pedal I have pushes the amp into tube saturation heaven.

Did I mention I love it?

I had the pleasure of playing a buddies at a gig this weekend, one of the sweetest amps I've ever played. I loved the tone of it, can't remember if it was the 210 or 15.

I have the Duo-Ten . . .

and I love it. You can really push it and get that gooey tubeness too. I recently added the Tech 21 VT bass pedal and the combo is really remarkable. I wont be needing another amp for some time.

Any opinions on the tone of the 1x10? I play different kinds of rock, so versatility is important to me.

I'd like to upgrade eventually from my little Ampeg BA110 practice amp (I like the tone, but the volume output on it is severely lacking), and one of these could definitely fit the bill.

If you want a power upgrade then you should look at the duo-ten or the 115. 300/350 watts respectively. I dont think the 110 is a significant upgrade from what you have. Its tough to gig with less than 300 watts IMHO.
