Battery powered amps, whats the skinny on the Hog 30

The title says it all. Tell me about the Hog 30. I bought one used off the MF and it had a problem with the battery. The sound was not good off just the transformer (the speaker sounded blown). Hope this was just one bad unit because they are sending a replacement as soon as one comes in.
Droot

PS.... I would rather have had a Crate Bus but they are just no longer out there.

I owned one in the past. It was decent. Great for outdoor park stuff with just a couple guitars and percussion, which is what I used it for. Fully charged would last for hours! After a couple years the batteries would no longer hold a charge. You can replace the batteries (yep, there's 2 of them in there) but it's a hassle. The Crate Taxi's are nice but are rare and expensive in comparison.
