Behringer Bass Vamp Pro Questions

I might purchase this preamp but some questions arise, Is there any effects like distortion,wah ETC. acesssible by the controls or a MIDI board if so is any MIDI board compatible?

you can program 5 x 25 presets on the vamp, all sorts of amp- cab and effects simulations are available including overdrive, distortion and wah effects.
the presets are accessible via any MIDI pedal as far as i know, i don't use one myself.
