Behringer BXL1800A won't turn on

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a Behringer BXL1800A that wont turn on. nothing happened to it, it just wont turn on. I've tried multiple outlets, with no successful results so i am wondering what to do- should i replace the fuse? get a new cord? no lights come on when i flip the power switch so i know its not the speaker that wont make sound, its the whole combo that just wont turn on...and i don't have the money for a new amp...what do i do?

There's not much you can do except replace the fuse and try a different AC cord. Nothing else is user serviceable.

One thing EVERYONE should own is a basic voltmeter - go get one. With that tool, you can check the fuse to see if it's still in one piece. Sometimes it's hard to see if they're blown.

This would be a decent one - make sure to get the specific battery needed for it. http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=4214667

If no Radio Shack near you, Home Depot and Lowe's both carry similar meters. Get a digital one - they're easier to read.

DO NOT LOSE THE MANUAL.

Two things, what Pilgrim says to begin with and ask amp questions in the AMPS FORUM.
