There's not much you can do except replace the fuse and try a different AC cord. Nothing else is user serviceable.
One thing EVERYONE should own is a basic voltmeter - go get one. With that tool, you can check the fuse to see if it's still in one piece. Sometimes it's hard to see if they're blown.

If no Radio Shack near you, Home Depot and Lowe's both carry similar meters. Get a digital one - they're easier to read.
