Behringer BXL900A Help?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey I've had this old Behringer in my closet for about 3 years, it was my first bass amp, and i quit using it when i got my Hartke 5500 and GK cabs, but then something went wrong with both of these. My Hartke being of most importance, I brought it into my local guitar shop and they swapped the power supply, and it was good as new. I'd like to do so with my Behringer, but after opening it up, i noticed that I have no clue what the power supply looks like inside of this thing. Theres a circular disk thing that looks like a UFO, some random vents and stuff, and a lot of just odd things.

When I turn on the amp, the lights turn on, then fade away after 2-3 seconds, anyone know why?

and for some reason it wouldnt let me attach anything..

I would like to know what these things are.

whoever tells me/helps me first wins +8 internetz.

Unless you're a qualified amp tech, there's nothing in there that you can fix. In fact, you could do more damage, including to yourself. Just take it in to the shop where you took the Hartke, though it may not be worth the cost anyway.
