Behringer EPQ2000

I know Behringer doesn't get a lot of love around here, but I'm curious if anyone has any experience with this amp. It appears to be a QSC PLX1804 clone. (Certainly looks like a PLX.) Plus it can be bridged into 8 ohms and costs about half of the QSC. Opinions/advice?

It's power rating "watts" and not against any standard.
It doesn't say EIA, EIAJ, or FTC or even Peak watts
There's nothing you can compare it with to know if it's the same ratings.

QSC has a 6 year warranty. Behringer 1 year.
Warranty always says a lot about the quality.

I just read a review on the net, not sure of the link lost it but they shreded this amp to pieces.
A qaulified tech put the amp under a test to find out its real rms.Inside the amp he found numbers of another model that doesnt exist.Like it was the same amp as this but with less power going off the numbers on it....something like epq 800 or something.
He tested it & foun it to put out at clipping stage 345 @ 8 ohms.
Behringer state that it is 600watts @ 8ohms.Not even close.
These people are not telling the truth imo !
QSC 6 years
Behringer 1 years
