Benz Genz Content

Today I pulled the plug and bought a Genz Benz SLT6.0 - 210T. I have played it in the music store a few times but can't wait to get home and test all the settings. I am looking for a clear bottom with highs mixed in. If any of you guys have suggestions on settings please feel free to let me know - Bass -1 o'clock etc.

You might have a look at the manual, the features and some helpful hints are included to get you started. I suggest that you start flat, with the tone shaping filters off and experiment. Remember that the eq is very powerful, a little bit goes a long way. One of the most common issues we deal with is new players cranking the eq all the way up or down and being dis-satisfied with the sound. There's a swing of 12-15dB EITHER WAY!!!

You will not be sorry -- unless someone actually sold you a Benz Genz!

If I had to play without my 6.0, I'd be scared Shuttleless.

thank you for your business Tramp.

I'd recommend starting with all the eq section at 12:00 o' clock. From there....just do as Jimmy says. Remember though, a little eq'ing goes a long way.

The knobs have detents- I go with just a couple of clicks at a time.

IMHO, even one click makes a discernible difference. I sure do love those detented controls...makes repeatable settings a snap...okay, I'm OCD...I count clicks...

I set everything on my 6.0 to 12 o'clock, don't mess with any of those buttons, set the volume to where I want it and play.

I played 4 gigs in the last two weeks with my new Genz Benz shuttle6.0 - 210t. This amp kicks. I set everything at just about 12:00 o'clock with the LF Boost and Mid Scoop pushed in. It had plenty of punch & Growl - just the way I like it. All the band members said how clear it was. They could not believe it was only two tens and in a small cabinet. This is the best amp I have ever owned.

Thanks Agedhorse for your input on the settings. It is greatly appreciated.

I've went from a GBE 400 and a 2+12 to a neo pak and a 2+10 to a STL6.210T as well as other brands in between . I keep coming back to Genz Benz.

Kick ass gear

currently have a STL6.0210T and couldn't be happier
