Hey Joe,
I have been wondering about this myself for some time, but since I do not have the IP with me at this time, I cannot tell.
In the Quick Start leaflet of the IP, it says "
XLR Looping Output is hardwired to input and not affected by amp's power status."
So, my guess is if you are providing input to the IP from the DI of your preamp, you simply need to connect the XLR Looping Output to the house with nothing in between. Meanwhile, depending on the impedance of the output of your preamp or the active bass, you might need to use a DI in between the XLR Looping Output and the house.
Best,
Alper

I have been using a DI as the front end of the Berg, but have lately been playing with preamps that have no DI. I am sure some self-starting individual who plays active basses straight into the Berg has done this. |
