Picked up a Bergantino AE410 a couple weeks ago. Been using it with my Markbass LMII and I couldn't be happier. This cab has plenty of punch and more low end grunt than I've been used to with neo speakers. Paired with the MB head this combo so far has plenty of headroom and sounds a lot warmer than I was expecting.
For reference here are some video clips. YouTube - Nonsense does Proud Mary 4/16/11
Paid through the nose on this one but it was worth it and I have no regrets.

It turns out the following week we had two back to back gigs in entirely different settings, one outdoors and one in a very small echoey room, and in both instances the the rig worked. Outdoors I way more headroom than needed and in the small room I had the exact same sound just "smaller". Its been my experience in the past with other setups that something was lost when playing at lower volumes but this setup just did the trick.
Still loving the Mark Bergie.

I've played low volume coffee house gigs, loud outdoor gigs, loud odd shaped room indoor gigs, an "echoey" auditorium with a hollow type stage and this cab seems to rise to any occasion. It sounds as good at very low volumes as it does cranked up to the nines.
Combined with the fact that the dimensions are so small and the relative light weight make it just seems like the perfect all around cabinet.
Played it today at church with my Genz Shuttle 6.0. It smoked.

It seems from our previous conversations you and I are going for a similar type of thing. I've been using the LMII for a while, and love it with the AE410. When I got the RH450, though, the LMII quickly went into a permanent back-up role. The RH450 is like a warmer, more refined, slightly more powerful (though rated the same) version. My guess is you'd really dig it... |

Berg AE212 and Shuttle 9.0 or Markbass F1 or F500 is "da bomb"

If I roll off the extreme lows a little and slightly bump the mids at about 1kHz or so, that combination makes the AE212 sound a lot like the AE410. I would think that EQ would work on the RH 450 too.

Greg | Hi Greg,
Can you post your settings for this? (including your shift settings).
Been trying to pull a nice hifi tone from my AE212 with the RH450 but it just sounds woolley (for want of a better term).
Are you using the Tweetertone to give it a more cutting high end?
The Shuttle 9.0 gives me this tone set flat but would love to use the RH450 with this cab set up as well.
Cheers mate

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Corona California | | This weekend illustrates why I just cant say enough good things about this cabinet. Saturday I played an outdoor gig in a large area where people where spread out all over the place. Paired with my LMII this cab had so much grunt all of the musicians in attendance were commenting how sweet, (and loud), my rig sounded.
Heres a clip: YouTube - ‪Nonsense does "We Got The Beat" 6/12/11‬‏
The next day I took it to church for worship team duty. The couple of weeks prior I had used my Genz Benz Neox 112T cab with my Shuttle 6.0. Dont get me wrong, that cabinet is superb and I used it for small gigs and and it always shined, but the sound man and the rest of the band commented how sweet and EVEN this cabinet sounded, (paired with the Shuttle). I actually played louder, (according to people in the audience), but there wasnt even a hint of "boominess". This room is prone to "boom" and it took a lot of eq'ng to get to an acceptable level with the GB combination. But once again, the AE proved its a cab for all seasons.
I play all over the place, in every conceivable situation and venue. I have yet to experience a situation where this cabinet wasnt prefectly suited.
