Bergantino caster question

Just wanted everyone's opinion, I recently picked up a new Bergantino HD 410 and I'm curious if any of you are running yours with the casters on. I always thought that having the cab sit directly on the floor was supposed to yield more low end......thoughts?

That bad boy is too heavy to carry IMO and I didn't care for the Berg casters.

For my HT322 I have a 3/4" piece of birch plywood with some heavy duty casters attached (16 counter sunk machine screws) The board is mounted to the bottom of the cab with 3/16" lag screws
If I should ever want to restore the cab a 1/4" round dowel rod will glue in nicely.

The sound difference is miniscule if there at all. I have installed industrial castors straight on to the bottom of my HS410. The Fender/EB socket ones last about 10 minutes.

If I want to stack or am faced with a bouncy stage I can always sit it on its side.

The cab would need to be 2-3 feet off the floor to lose the coupling effect.

Looking for more opinions on this one. I also have an HD 410 with casters that I am considering removing and using my hand-truck to move. One of the casters falls out all the time anyway and I am not keen on pulling them off for each gig.
Will there be holes that need to be filled if I remove the wheels?
