Bergantino HT112 questions

I just bought the older chrome grill version.
I've got a couple questions.

1) I may want to replace the handle as the vinyl cover's been cut. Would you call Jim B. or go 3rd party ala http://www.reliablehardware.com/straphandles.aspx
2) Can I put the cab on its side so it's taller than wider? Would it negatively affect the sound/port design?

No problem putting it on its side... zero issue.

Regarding parts, I'd first call Jim... he's a good guy and very fair with replacement part pricing.

Thanks fellower Detroiter. That port question (while seemingly simple, stupid) conjured the possiblity of some esoteric reason not to.

Hello from Grosse Pointe Farms!

Port location really doesn't matter much.

Great little box. I think Jim probably still has some black grills also if you prefer that to the chrome.
