I can't think of why I'd EVER sell mine. So skrimp and save and you'll experience the joy of ownership once you get there.
They're worth every penny.
Cheers,
Cameron

When I decided to buy a couple 12" cabs, I really wanted to try something different and read up on just about everything out there. For my tastes, I just couldn't find anything I thought I would like as much as the Berg HT/EX 112ER setup. Plenty of ok cabs to go with, but I'm not aware of anything that will really compare to the Bergs (if that's the sound you want) IMO/IME. |

| | | If you like the more creamy, fat, smooth voicing of the Berg HT line, the LDS 12/6 (configured with the Eminence 3012LF woofer and the Faital mid driver) is just amazing... huge low end, smooth mids, organic top end... fantastic box.
Here's a picture of one execution, with a clip! this box will do everything except full out Marcus Miller sizzle (for that, just make it a three way box with the wonderful Eminence tweeter and Patterson custom crossover). http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=121557 |
