Bergantino HT322 and a Genz Benz Streamliner 900????

I just purchased a GB Streamliner 900, and i'd like to get a cab that will compliment it next. I'd really like a 4ohm cab so that I can get the most out of my rig without having to bring another enclosure to gigs. On my local craigslist there are two Bergie HT322 for sale right now and I have spoken to one the sellers and he would sell to me for $500 (which is my budget). Given what these cabs cost back when they were in production i'd say it's a good deal. Right now my only cab is an 8ohm Avatar 2x12 neo, which I do enjoy. Well, my question is would you guys recommend I buy the Berg, or take my money another direction. Also Do you guys think that the Berg would compliment the Streamliner more than the Avatar??? I play in a very diverse setting, one moment we are playing gritty rock and the next we go into a funky fusion tune. All advice is really welcomed.

First off, that is a FANTASTIC deal for one of the best sounding bass cabs in history. Secondly, this cab will compliment the STL900 beautifully. The STL has a ton of very rich sound and delicious flavor that can get lost with the wrong cab..... the HT will bring out all the sexy low-midrange the STL offers quite nicely.

GO FOR IT!!

(Then give me the seller's email so I can scoop the second HT322 for $500!!!)

Thanks for the advice! I think I worded it wrong, it is two different sellers. But if you are serious I can talk to the other and see if he will sell for the same price, just let me know.

The Bergantino HT322 is a design which seems very similar to the new Genz Benz Uber Quad - with a 12" woofer, two 8" mid drivers, plus a tweet. And I'm sure the Uber Quad sounds uber nice with the Streamliner.

My advice: Not only scoop up one of those HT322s, but find a way to beg, borrow or steal the cash for the second one as well. You'll be one happy camper...
