Had/have you played the NV215? I'm wondering about comparisons. (actual players views rather than "the science behind it" etc.
Really appreciate your views so far.
Thanx again.
We should have some meaningful comparisons (including the NV215) after next weekend...

Yes, they have been discontinued.

Wow - no mass chaos and panic? I'd guess these 115s would scratch that itch for many. But the big NVs are really something!

My NV215 has been the one constant cabinet in my lineup for many years. Others come and go, but the NV215 always puts a smile on my bandmate's faces. Can't see that ever changing.

There was mass chaos and panic in another thread already.

Those dimensions are just half a big NV cab iirc. Cool. I'd assume that they will be like the Baer cabs and have feet on two sides, so 24" tall can become 24" wide. Otherwise where are guys gonna put their lead sleds?

So to get it straight, this is a non-tweeter, sealed cabinet loaded with one 15" and one 6" speaker?

Looking forward to it. The 215 is wonderful. Effortless envelopment at any volume. I wonder if it can be achieved without 2 15's doing their coupling thing.

Wonder if there will be a 15 sub to go with it.

My previous neck injury/surgery ruled those cabs out for me, but man that NV412 was an amazing cab. I got the chance to play through once at a shop once (with an Aggy DB751) and it was really something to behold!

cab

Im currently trying to find a good neo cab to cover for my nv610 when I don't want to haul it or need better sound at a lower volume but, this cab may do it and, not so bad at around 50lbs. I'll probably be getting one. I like the idea of a punchier nv215 with better top end. Im sure that jim left in the growl too.

I'm wondering what the price point will be? I'm guessing somewhere in the $800-900 range?

hopefully at some point you will get both of the cabs being discussed around here recently in for a full go around. Your reviews are always informative and honest, and seem to come from a players perspective in the real world. I for one am looking forward to it!

I hope it sounds like an HT115 - the only 15 I ever liked. If it's crisp enough, I may have to have one.

I would doubt it would sound anything like that cab. It if did, the target market for the NV line would be pretty disappointed.

Thanks! Yes, I am hoping to be able to play around with both cabs this coming Sunday.
