Exclamation Bergantino NV610 or 2x Avatar B410 Neo?

Wanting to get some opinions on this.

I am pretty set on the Bergantino NV610, but a friend reminded me of how badass sounding my last live setup was [using single Avatar b410 neo]. The money I would save by going with two Avatars would be enough to buy me an analog synth like a micromoog. This is my main incentive.

Distortion setup:
VT Bass Deluxe into QSC PLX1602 + 2nd output to solid-state amp distortion from guitar combo amp

Option 1 - new NV610
Option 2 - hold out for used NV610
Option 3 - two used Avatar B410neo cabs (buyng new would defeat the purpose)

Bergantino Pros Vs. Cons

Pros:
-It's a friggin NV610
-Sealed, punchiest cabinet on the planet
-Single cabinet so less to move
-Easier to move around
-Tweeterless
-Ceramic magnets
-5k cutoff
-4 ohm

Cons:
-Price (standard $1300 set by Bergantino)
-Heavier than Neo cabs
-Tweeterless

Yes, I realize I put tweeterless in both pros vs. cons because it is both a plus and a minus for me. If I run the Avatars with the tweeter off, I'll have a cutoff of 3.5k vs 5k on the Berg.

Avatar Pros vs. Cons
Pros:
-Full-range option with tweeter
-Price
-Money saved to buy micromoog or similar
-Weight

Cons:
-Hauling two cabinets instead of one
-3.5k cutoff
-8 ohm (I would go with two 4 ohm if my amp could cut it in stereo, but the PLX1602 just doesn't IME)
-Neo magnets (this is not a big deal)

Anyone have experience running one 8 ohm avatar with around 800 watts? Clipping problems? Run out of headroom?

Thanks for reading guys, I really appreciate your collective insights.

Another Avatar con:
-Deep midrange suckout approx. 2 KHz - 4 KHz.

Depending on the tone you like, you may or may not care.

Aiming 800 watts at a single B410 makes me a little nervous. Consider the cost of neo replacement drivers in light of the recent mark-ups.

Yeah, I'm just reading about Avatar's prices going up in response to Neodymium availability in flux, this definitely is another +1 for the Bergantino. Even new though, right now I could pick up two new B410 neos and still be paying $300 less.

Honestly I never heard the midrange suckout between 2-4khz when I played through the cab. It sounded much more full sounding than my Aguilar GS112s, which I ALWAYS had to boost the 800hz midrange.

I was referring to 800 watts being underpowered, and not having enough headroom, considering I ran the PLX1602 bridged into one 4 ohm B410neo just fine. Just ran the poweramp gain dial at 12 o'clock.

I was thinking that the reason I never heard the dip in the 2-4khz region, is because I was blasting distorted mid-range riffs through a solid-state guitar combo with the bass rolled off. This probably filled whatever perceived and measured midrange gap in the Avatar b410neos. Pretty sure the 12" guitar speaker in there was going well past 2.5k

Yep, I'd agree with that. The twelve was probably shouldering the load up in that region.

If the NV610 is anything like my flatback, I wouldn't list tweeterless as con, since you won't need it.
