Bergantino NV610 - Grill clean-up/touch-up tips

I suppose this would apply to any cab with a black metal grill but the used one I just purchased happens to be a Bergantino NV610. Previous owner had some stickers which were removed just before selling, spilled some beer or water near bottom and added a few scrapes. Nothing horrible but I like a nice clean looking grill.

Any suggestions for how best to clean? I've been using a cloth, water and elbow grease. So far got most of the sticker residue but still some left as well as a few rusty holes.

What about for touch-up where paint is scraped off? My go to is usually a black Sharpie but doesn't always match well.

Spray WD 40 on a rag & wipe to get the sticky residue off. DO NOT SPRAY IT ON THE GRILL!!

Don't use WD40 - you will have to clean it off when you are done or it will attract all kinds of crap.

Use VMP/Naphtha.

Lighter fluid. I have a sneaky suspicion goo gone is the same thing. Everybody over 40 seems to have a can of zippo fluid laying around.

I've used goo gone in places on this but takes some paint with it.

What about touch up?
