Are Bergatino NV cabs stackable?

the 24"X36"X15" cabs
has anyone tried to physically stack them?
is it as comparable to stacking Ampeg 410HLF cabs? worse, better?

Quackhead 11-11-2012 07:48 AM

Technically yes, they are stackable, but at 100 lbs for the 610 and 108 for the 610, it would be a bear. And what would you need to stack them for?

Far different (imo better, but that's just me) to 410hlf cabs. They're tuned WAY lower, are ported etc...
NV's will handle shiploads more power too.

stack them on their sides....I have

When I had the NV425 and the NV610 at the same time, both were carpet covered and had the chevron corners, they stacked well when stacked on there sides .... as compared to the Ampeg HLF cabinets, there really is no comparison, those cabinets are just tuned way to low and just don't have the power handling capabilities ... I can't see how one would need 2 NV cabs stacked ..... but I guess there are folks out there who do need a huge wall of sound, and if it's a wall of Bergs so be it !!!!!

Stacked on their sides is how I roll. I put rubber amp feet on the sides and they stack perfectly. Wall of sound for sure

the hlf to bergantino comparison was purely suggested for stacking, not tone wise. it's a b**** to stack the hlf, but not impossible.

stacking em sideways, sounds like a good plan.
do you get wheel rattle?

Ron Now 11-11-2012 09:16 PM

No wheel rattle that I've ever noticed. And if it does rattle I'm playing far too loud to ever notice.

I stacked mine like that once but the sound was too uneven on stage so Si went back to side by side.

Now I usually just use one cranked higher.
