Hey, I have a berhingrr ep1500 and I'm trying to put it into the bridges mode. I tried hooking it up to a berhinger ba810 and all I got lots of distortion coming from the cab. I used a speakon cable from my input to the cab. Any ideas why I'm getting distortion.

Did you re-wire the amp end of your Speakon cable to 1+, 2+, with the speaker end remaining 1+ (from 1+ at the amp), and 1- ( from 2+ at the amp)?

1) mark the hell out of the amp end, Speakon.

2) at amp Speakon: red to 1+, black to 2+, white cut short/not connected, brown cut short/not connected.

3) at speaker Speakon: red to 1+, black to 1-, white cut short/not connected, brown cut short/not connected.

If the cable is very long, and or the gauge is very light, you may pair wires. Red and white to 1+, black and brown to 2+ ; Red and white to 1+, black and brown to 1-.
