Very cool. Berry must have used that amp on the At Fillmore East gigs, and his sound on that album is just killer- probably one of my favourite bass tones ever. Longtime Allmans roadie Joseph "Red Dog" Campbell passed away just this Monday so I assume he is the one referred to in the ad. I hope a charitable Allmans fan buys the amp to help Red Dog's family out and sends it back to Macon as the Foundation wishes.

That's really awesome. One of my all-time favorite bands. I hope it goes for well over what they are asking.

How would you verify the authenticity of something like this?

Read the text in the Ebay ad. A simple call to the Big House Foundation would verify.

Too bad I'm not a lottery winner, or I would buy it and put it in the ABB Museum.

This thread, and the news of Red Dog's passing, has gotten me to thinking about the ABB. I used to hang a bit with them, plus Jaimoe and Lamar are old friends and from my home town.

Have you seen the lineup for the Wanee festival?
