Question Best 1-Handed Combo Amp under $1,000. ??

I bet this topic has been thrashed & trashed in one form or other.
I've had bunches of amps, but not so many combos. Being lazy, I keep going back to my go-to old SWR Workingman 12 which is somewhere around 20+ years old and still honkin' .... just did some cleanup on it to get the grunge out.
I currently have a 700RB II and a Aggie GS112 but honestly don't drag them around so much. For whatever reason I've become disenchanted with the GK head. There's something I'm wanting to hear and with several different basses I ain't hearin' it, but I do hear a whole lot of other..... long story

anyway, what's the current hotness in combos that can be one-handed, put out a big sound, good I/O features and reliable, under a Grand? Its fine with me if its WAY under $1K, I just figured I better put a budgetary limit on it... times being what they is.

These are still under $1K. I have one and I think it is the best amp I have ever owned.

I totally agree with the above poster. The model I refer to is definitely a one hander. It will more than replace an SWR Workingman's 12. I had a Workingman's 15 combo and this Markbass 1 12" combo blows that away by far in sound, power and portability.

i played around with a jeff berlin model and it was pretty nifty. i dunno if its worth 1100 skins, but it sounded good - at least in the carefully-contrived store environment

The Markbass Mini Mark 2x6 combo does it for me.

I've never had another combo amp I could pick up with one hand. I also covet a Jeff Berlin 115 and would go with that if I were in the market for one.

The Jeff Berlin model is great. I saw him recently in a power trio and was FLOORED.
If that’s too expensive, go for the Carvin BR515N.
