best 412 cabinets available?

looking to buy a new 412 bass cabinet, i have loved my Madison MAB412, but would like to replace it with a newer one, and possibly end up buying two, I have heard good things about the G-K cab, and was wondering if there is also other good bass 412 cabs out on the market, any input would be appreciated

Mesa or Berg for me. 412's rule, which is why I play 'em.

It will probably sound more close to your Madison than the Boogie would, not to say that's bad.
If I could afford it or had need I'd own an NV412 along with my Mesa setup and just alternate per show.

I have had the Berg 412 and the aguilar 412. I can tell you this. The Aguilar stomps the Berg........however I LOVE my Ber nv215! I also currently own a Schroeder BMF 412 that is aggressive and louder than any 412 I have owned.........my 2 cents

Man, I didn't think anyone still had madison stuff. In case you didn't know, the Aguilar 4-12 and the Madison 4-12 are the same design right down to the port holes. Of course Madison has the metal mystique.

If you have the bread for it, find one of the Aggies in green. That would look killer for any genre!

I've had an old trace 412 that was great, hard to find though. Had the mesa and the gk. Still have the gk. Mesa is monstrous in size and tone, but there is magic in the gk 12's.

How low a price?
Finding a Mesa or Berg or Aggy used 412 is kinda tough so that may be a better bet.

Not bad. Both the Mesa and Berg will easy run you closer to $900 especially if you have to have it shipped.

I found one locally to me as well, I currently have the Mesa Powerhouse 4X12. I've always wanted to A/B these two cabs as the GK's weight would be really nice to have but the tone of my PH412 is exactly what I want, so why change it?

What about that Traynor TC412? Looks pretty close to the Aggie.
