best 500w amp head ???

And of course, don't forget to check out good old Hartke amps. I love my HA5500. It has 500w @ 4ohms, awsome equalizer, awsome tone (very flexible), good price,... It's not exactly light-weight, but it's not that heavy. And it's a lasting for ever built like a tank amp

This, check out the recording in my sig. Recorded through the DI, I did nothing extreme on the AMP eq, everything was pretty close to flat, I think bass is at 2 or 3 o'clock, treble 11, mids I don't remember.
