honestly, it's more about technique than which amp you buy.

| | | | It depends on the bass too what kind of bass do you have?? and how you eq your bass?? There are so many amps to choose from go to your local GC or local bassshop store and try out different amps to see if you find the slap tone your looking for it's all i can tell you. Me on small gigs i use a Carvin BX-500 and for bigger gigs i use a aguilar AG-500sc i get amazing slap tone on both amps.
