Best head to "match" Ampeg SVT HLF??

I currently run my HLF through an old Peavey BH400 amp (for 75 bucks, it was hard to beat). For what I do, it fits the bill. However, a good friend of mine just gave me a Peavey 4X12 (with the BW's) and I am going to retire the BH400/4X12 to home use. From what I have read, some amps don't "match" some cabs. For example, many say the LMII and the HLF just don't go well together. What are some good choices that go with the HLF? I don't need anything fancy and will give up some features for quality. Something that I could find on the used market would be a bonus. Thanks to all.

Right now I'm running a FenderTB1200 ($1300) into my
410HLF....You might look at the Line6 HD750 ( $499) . What's good about this cab you can drive most heads without being too particular.

Get a Used GK.

whoever said the lmii and 410 hlf don't go well together sold you a bill of goods. i've done it many times in the past and it always sounds good, although i usually have to roll low end off of it. i think too much is made of this "amp to go with cab" stuff. they all have eq's so they should all go well with anything...that's my philosophy.

The LMII goes great with an HLF. I use one as a backup to my SVT-CL and the LMII sounds almost as good as the CL.
