Best Head settions for Latin music

I have a SVT 7 Pro head. Im a new bass player and wondering what the best setting would be for latin music.
Also im a complete amateur and was wondering why my b string doesn't have a clear sound. does it have to do with the settings or with the cabinet witch is a Gallien-Krueger 410MBX

Hard to say without hearing you play or knowing your current settings or what bass you're using. Maybe you're using too much bass response for the cab to handle?
