The Orange Terror Bass comes to mind. They offer both a 500w and 1000w model that operates at that respected wattage at both 4ohms and 8ohms. Plus it is tiny and is great for portability. I personally have been GAS'in for the 500.

The Genz Shuttle gets my vote. I just like its tone most. The Orange Terror is awesome, but a little bigger than the Shuttle

Why would I be mad??? - I think it's comical that you would even attempt to put the phrase "great customer service" in the same sentence as Ampeg...

BTW, is Ampeg up to Rev.M on the -7Pro yet???
