Markbass cabs don't get the love around here that the amps do, but I want a NY 151 to mate with my Berlin combo. I think that will do it for me, as I like my tone now with pretty much all my basses, nice to have the option of a second 15.

Can you explain why you want a second cab,,does the speaker in the combo not handle all the power? or is it another reason?

Best? O.K., here you go. Any of these would be far superior to any mass-marketed box.

Any cab employing either of these two full-range 15s:

Eminence 3015 or Faital Pro 15PR400 by itself or with a high frequency driver (the Selenium D220T1 with HM25-25 would be excellent choices if you wanted a super tweeter/horn). Both 15s, again, full frequency range, have very high sensitivity (dB SPL) & very good Xmax (for very large air movement).

...or a cab with the Eminence 3015LF (low frequency) & a dedicated midrange speaker, preferably a 6.5" 18Sound 6ND410 or 5" Faital Pro M5N8-80. This 15 also has very high sensitivity & very high Xmax (for massive air movement).

About a 1/2 dozen cab builders have offerings along these lines. Afraid I don't have them all on the tip of my tongue (so don't want to slight anyone), but others would be able to list them.

Yep, Greenboy, that's one. fEarful & fEarless. Baer, Barefaced, Audiokinesis, & Bill Fitzmaurice. Low Down Sound (LDS) will build anything. Use the "search" function for these top-quality outfits. Sure there are others.

But DO NOT do biz w/Dr. Bass. There's a "sticky" thread regarding him. Take a gander at it.

Everything mentioned so far is very good. What sounds best to you?

Here are a couple I've tried and thought sounded great:
Bergantino HT115
Glockenklang UNO ROCK 1x15
