Give us some more info to work with here.
What's your budget?
Tone Goals?
I have (2) Epifani UL-115 cabs that weigh in at 34 pounds each, and sound great for MY needs. I play mainly classic rock, and like a nice deep tone that cuts. I don't slap, and just play finger style.
So help us out here.

You do PAY for the technology, but if you have a good sized budget and want the lowest weight possible, you won't have much other competition for the perfomance vs wieght category.

Those who have 'em, worth the dough?

| | | | I'm very impressed by my EBS NeoLine 212s - very loud, very high-fi, and 53lbs - but they're damned expensive in the US. If by some miracle you come across one used, it is definitely worth checking out.

Those who have 'em, worth the dough? | Still gigging my pair and love 'um. Although, I'm awful curious about the new Bergantino CN112s.

I built a couple of my own fairly large 2x15 cabs (36x24x15) and they came out to 46lbs each which I still consider very lightweight. I used Kappalite 3015's in one and Faital 15PR400's in the other. IMO, both of them sound great and can play really loud if I ever need them to. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
