Best NOS tube amp Hey folks, I want to have your opinion on what's the best vintage sounding tube amp on the market these days. I have an all Aguilar rig that sounds great but can't cope the vintage tube vibe that I miss on certain gigs. So I'm looking for something to pair with my two DB 210 that can give the vintage rock tone. Took a brief look at the Fender 100T but haven't tried it out yet. Any other good choices? Thanks and happy holidays!!! |
Get the 100T |
Easy answer - V4B. |

I don't want to spoil the surprise, but from what I've been told, it's going to be a little bit of both ;) |
Sounds exciting! |

Matamp. Place still runs in the old way. Dudes (and a dudette) wiring amps by hand, same people that answer the phone when you call etc. |
Take a look here: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f15/di...ilders-528474/ For my money, I'd go Reeves... - georgestrings |
Don't overlook the Traynor YBA300! |
The new Mesa amps will be hitting the street any second- or by 2017. |
Well! The Reeves is utterly splendid but I am also rather impressed with Taystee's Custom Matamp 200. ![]() Same mil spec hand wired quality but its made in Yorkshire Lad! Smooth as John Smiths bitter t' amp is, thou knows!.:D |
