Best place to get Ampeg replacement speakers???

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a few speakers I need to get. One 10" in my 410 is out and the 10 in my 1015 cab is torn with rubber cement holding it together. Where's the best place to pick these up? I don't gig with the 1015 anymore, so is it just possible to unplug the 10 if it starts to fart or will that screw up the ohms? Its an 8 ohm 175w cab with a 10, 15, and horn. Also, will just replacing 1 driver in the 410 hurt anything as long as I get the same kind? You know, OLD vs new. Thank

Ampeg will sell you the exact replacements. The cab was designed to work best with them.

You should be OK replacing just one driver as long as it matches the old one.

Yes, the Carvin drivers might be good, but I would never drop in one in a 410. It's guaranteed to NOT match the originals.
