Now I wish it was. lol

Doom metal has it's own sound, a la Orange or Green amps is what I'm saying.

See where I'm going with this?

Please say yes, feeling kind of stupid right now. hahahaha

Unfortunately, you won't get a good answer about any rigs for Death, Doom, Funeral, or hardcore metal.
However, I've seen a few local Doom Metal bands that sound great with SWR rigs.

one that uses human bone as speaker grill and human flesh as speaker cones
the amp should be one powered on either virgins blood or the souls children and have the tears or widows operating as a preamp

or buy an svt and drive the tubes hard

SunnO))) uses vintage Sunn 2000S amps for bass...I think. I'm not certain about the cabs, maybe Sunn 2x15.

Electric Wizard uses old Sound City amps, B120 for guitar and B200 for bass. I'm not sure what's loaded in their custom cabs.

Of course, those bands have good PA support too.

You need a high powered overdriven tube amp for certain. Other than Sunn and Sound City, options include Ampeg SVT, Laney Nexus 400, Fender 400PS (needs 3 cabs 4Ω each though for full power), Marshall VBA-400, Reeves Custom 225, Weber MYWATT 400, old Hiwatt 400 or 200, Orange AD200, Mesa 400, etc.

For low and loud cabinets, many TalkBass members favor fEarful DIY built cabs, Bill Fitzmaurice DIY cabs, or Low Down Sound cabs similar to the fEarful designs.

For a bass instrument, a long scale neck, ≥ 37", like a Dingwall would be best.

Add a fuzz pedal of choice and some robes and fog machine if you're into that look.

One of very few smart posts. Much appreciated.

Thank you.

My 2 cents.....
Most Bass Players I'VE seen in these bands use high wattage
Eden amps and cabs, usually with 4x10 and an 18 on the bottom.
All 5 stringers with a black Warwick Corvette or Spector.
